Regulatory hosting platform Falcon Investment Management has launched a multi-PM fund with around $150m in commitments. The Cayman-domiciled Falcon Protected Leverage Fund is understood to have launched in recent weeks.
The managers in the new fund are part of London based Falcon’s first-loss multi-strategy platform. Strategies in the new fund include equity volatility relative value, fundamental cross-commodity, FX carry, and commodity option volatility trading.
The firm offers regulatory hosting alongside fund structuring and managed accounts in addition to first-loss capital solutions. The firm’s $300m AuM consists of the funds on its regulatory hosting platform and an internal multistrategy hedge fund.
The Falcon Multi-Manager Fund, which runs using internal capital, is up 5.8% YTD through April. It gained 21.1% last year and 14.8% in 2022.
Falcon is managed by CIO Benny Menashe and CRO Sandeep Shah.
Falcon confirmed the launch.
